3rd Bass was an American hip-hop group active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group consisted of MC Serch (Michael Berrin), Prime Minister Pete Nice (Peter Nash), and DJ Richie Rich (Richard Lawson). Their debut album, "The Cactus Album," was released in 1989 and featured the hit "The Gas Face." In 1991, they released "Derelicts of Dialect," which included the successful single "Pop Goes the Weasel."
