ICONITO is a Slovak pop-rock band formed in 2014 in Michalovce. The group consists of Kristián Dufinec (vocals, guitar), Silvester Michalenko (keyboards, vocals), Martin Bertič (lead guitar), Marek Hrdinský (drums), Ján Talpaš (percussion, vocals), and Pavol Bačkay (bass guitar, vocals). In 2014, they won the Košický zlatý poklad competition. In 2017, Igor Timko, the lead singer of the band No Name, became their producer. In 2018, they performed as the opening act on ELÁN's tour. In 2021, they released the single "Korene" in collaboration with FS Zemplín, which became the title track of a project focusing on modern interpretations of Slovak folklore. In 2022, they released the album "Korene." Between 2022 and 2023, they completed three tours in the USA, including performances at the Czecho-Slovak Ball in Chicago and a concert at the Slovak Embassy in Washington D.C. In November 2024, they celebrated 10 years on the scene with an anniversary concert at Chemkostav Arena, featuring guests like Marián Čekovský and Róbert Burian. In 2024, they released the single "Prepáč." The band is known for blending pop-rock with elements of Slovak folklore. The products available from the artist ICONITO include t-shirts, CDs.
