Acid Mammoth is a doom/stoner metal band from Athens, Greece, formed in 2015 by Chris Babalis Jr. and Dimosthenis Varikos. They were later joined by Marios Louvaris and Chris Babalis Sr. The band signed with Heavy Psych Sounds Records and has released three albums and one split album. Their music is characterized by heavy riffs and dark themes, drawing inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath and Electric Wizard. Notable albums include "Under Acid Hoof" and "Supersonic Megafauna Collision". The band actively tours across Europe and has garnered a following within the doom metal community.
