Aethernaeum was an extreme metal band from Berlin, Germany, active between 2012 and 2017. Initially a solo project by Alexander Paul Blake, it released the album "Die Rückkehr ins Goldene Zeitalter" in 2012. After adding other members, the project was renamed Aethernaeum and released "Wanderungen durch den Daemmerwald" in 2013. Their music combined elements of black metal, folk, and ambient, drawing inspiration from nature and romanticism. In 2015, they released the album "Naturmystik". The band ceased activities in 2017.
