Afire is a Finnish hard rock band formed in 2016 in Oulu. The band consists of vocalist Suvi Hiltunen, guitarists Antti Leiviskä and Sami Kukkohovi, bassist Harri Halonen, and drummer Tarmo Kanerva. In 2017, they released their debut EP "Let Me Down Slowly," followed by their first album "On the Road from Nowhere" in 2018. Their music blends elements of hard rock and heavy metal, drawing from Finnish metal traditions. Band members have previously played in other notable Finnish bands such as Sentenced and Poisonblack.
