Afro Bop Alliance is a Latin jazz septet from Annapolis, Maryland, performing throughout the Baltimore-Washington DC area and the Mid-Atlantic region. The group was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album in 2008 for "Caribbean Jazz Project - Afro Bop Alliance featuring Dave Samuels." Their 2016 album "Revelation" expanded their sound by incorporating steel pan virtuoso Victor Provost's quartet, creating a unique blend of big band and steel pan music.
