Alan Sparhawk is an American musician known as the co-founder and frontman of the band Low, formed in 1993 in Duluth, Minnesota. Following the death of his wife and bandmate Mimi Parker in 2022, Low disbanded. Sparhawk subsequently released his second solo album, "White Roses, My God," in September 2024, and a third album, "With Trampled by Turtles," in May 2025. His music spans genres such as alternative rock, indie rock, and experimental rock. Sparhawk is recognized for his collaborations with various artists and projects, including Retribution Gospel Choir and Trampled by Turtles.
