Albert Cano Smit is a Spanish-Dutch pianist born on October 4, 1996, in Geneva, Switzerland. He studied at the Colburn School Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles and the Juilliard School in New York. In 2017, he won first prize at the Naumburg International Piano Competition, and in 2019, he won the Young Concert Artists Competition. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Seattle Symphony, San Diego Symphony, and Montreal Symphony Orchestra. His debut album, "Bach: The Art of Fugue," was released in March 2025.
