András Schiff is a Hungarian-British pianist and conductor renowned for his interpretations of works by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Franz Schubert. Born in Budapest, he studied at the Liszt Academy of Music. Schiff gained international acclaim for his recordings of Bach's "The Well-Tempered Clavier" and Beethoven's piano sonatas.
