Anette von Eichel is a German jazz singer, composer, and lyricist. She studied jazz singing at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and European expansion history at the Rijksuniversiteit in Leiden. She has collaborated with musicians such as Sebastian Sternal, Henning Sieverts, Jonas Burgwinkel, Florian Ross, Marko Lackner, Annette Focks, Jasper Blom, Jesse van Ruller, and John Hollenbeck. Her albums include "Welcome to My World" (2001), "Get Out Now" (2004), "Golightly" (2012), "Inner Tide" (2021), and "Belonging" (2023). Since 2010, she has been a professor of jazz singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and, since 2021, the dean of the jazz and pop department.
