Anthony Branker is an American jazz composer and musical director, known for his work with the ensemble Ascent. The 2006 album "Spirit Songs" marks his debut as a composer and bandleader, featuring eight original compositions. The recording took place at Systems Two Recording Studios in Brooklyn in May 2004 and was released under the Sons of Sound Records label.
