Arab Strap is a Scottish indie rock duo formed in 1995 in Falkirk. The band consists of Aidan Moffat (vocals) and Malcolm Middleton (guitar). Their debut album, "The Week Never Starts Round Here," was released in 1996. Notable albums include "Philophobia" (1998) and "The Red Thread" (2001). The band is known for their introspective lyrics and minimalist musical style. After disbanding in 2006, they reunited in 2016 and released the album "As Days Get Dark" in 2021.
