Arion is a Finnish metal band formed in 2011 by guitarist Iivo Kaipainen. The band gained attention after performing their song "Lost" in the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2013, Finland's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Their debut album, "Last of Us," was released in 2014. In 2016, they recorded a duet, "At the Break of Dawn," with Elize Ryd from Amaranthe. Subsequent albums include "Life Is Not Beautiful" (2018), "Vultures Die Alone" (2021), and "The Light That Burns the Sky" (2025). The band is known for their melodic metal style and has collaborated with artists such as Noora Louhimo from Battle Beast and Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum.
