Arthur Côrtes Verocai is a Brazilian composer, singer, and producer born in 1945 in Rio de Janeiro. In 1972, he released his self-titled debut album, which was initially overlooked but later achieved cult status. Following this album, Verocai withdrew from composing for 30 years, focusing instead on arranging music for advertisements. He returned in 2007 with the album "Encore" and released "No Vôo do Urubu" in 2016. He has collaborated with artists such as BadBadNotGood, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Gal Costa.
