B.B. King, born Riley B. King, was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Born in 1925 in Mississippi, he began his career in the 1940s. His 1964 album "Live at the Regal" is considered one of the greatest live blues recordings. Among his most notable songs is "The Thrill Is Gone" from 1969, which earned him his first Grammy Award. King was renowned for his unique guitar playing style, influencing numerous musicians. Throughout his career, he won 15 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
