Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band is a German funk ensemble from Hamburg, renowned for their distinctive use of steel drums. Formed in 2007 as a side project by members of The Mighty Mocambos, their debut single featured covers of The Meters' "Look-Ka-Py-Py" and "Ease Back." In 2008, they released a cover of 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P.," which gained popularity and was featured in the 2024 film "Anatomy of a Fall."
