Beáta Dubasová is a Slovak pop singer who began her professional career in 1984 with the band Kamene. In 1987, she released her debut album "Beáta," featuring hits like "Sme také, aké sme" and "Dievča z reklamy." She followed with albums "Úschovňa pohľadov" (1988), "Za dverami mojej izby" (1990), and "Modrý album" (1993), which included the hit "Vráť mi tie hviezdy." Dubasová collaborated with musicians such as Vašo Patejdl and Peter Nagy. In 1989, she received the Journalists' Prize at the Bratislavská lýra festival for the duet "Muzikantské byty" with Vašo Patejdl.
