Benny Joy, born Benjamin Eidson, was an American rockabilly guitarist and singer who released three singles in the 1950s and was popular in the Florida area. His best-known songs include "Spin the Bottle," "Crash the Party," and "Miss Bobby Sox." In 1958, he was among the first rockabilly artists to tour Europe. Later, he became a successful songwriter for artists like Marty Robbins and Johnny Cash. His recordings gained renewed interest during the rockabilly revival of the 1970s and 1980s. He passed away in 1988 at the age of 52.
