Bjarke Mogensen is a Danish accordionist who debuted as a soloist with the Munich Symphony Orchestra at the age of 13. His repertoire includes classical music, his own arrangements and transcriptions, as well as new works for the accordion. He has collaborated with musicians such as Gidon Kremer and Tatjana Masurenko and performed with orchestras like the Moscow Virtuosi and the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Over 60 new compositions have been dedicated to him. He plays the Mythos No.5 accordion and is among the few accordionists who play the quarter-tone accordion.
