Blackbird & Crow is an Irish duo from County Donegal, consisting of Maighread Ní Ghrásta (vocals) and Stephen Doohan (guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, stomp box). The band was discovered and supported by Moya Brennan of the legendary group Clannad. They released their debut album "Shock Shatter Convince" in 2017, followed by "Ailm" in 2020. Their music blends elements of folk, blues, and alternative rock, with lyrics often exploring themes such as addiction, suicidal thoughts, and social alienation. They collaborated with producer Tommy McLaughlin and sound engineer Brian Masterson. The duo has performed at major festivals, including Electric Picnic and Longitude Festival.
