Blawan, born Jamie Roberts, is a British electronic music producer and DJ known for his industrial approach to techno and experimental electronic music. Hailing from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, he emerged on the music scene in the early 2010s with EPs on labels such as Hinge Finger and Hessle Audio. His 2011 remix of Radiohead's "Bloom" garnered widespread acclaim. Blawan is also a member of projects Karenn with producer Pariah and Trade with Surgeon. His music is characterized by raw rhythms and innovative production techniques, placing him among the influential artists of the UK's underground electronic scene.
