Blue Orchids is an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 1979 by Martin Bramah and Una Baines, former members of The Fall. Their debut album, "The Greatest Hit (Money Mountain)", released in 1982, reached number 5 on the UK Indie Chart. The band was known for its unique sound that combined post-punk with neo-psychedelia. During their career, they collaborated with artists such as Nico, serving as her backing band during her European tour in 1981. After a period of inactivity, the band reunited in 2012 and continues to create and perform music. The products available from the artist Blue Orchids include vinyls, CDs.
