Bonnie Dobson is a Canadian folk singer and songwriter, born on November 13, 1940, in Toronto. In the 1960s, she gained recognition for her song "Morning Dew," which became a folk standard covered by numerous artists. Her notable albums include "Bonnie Dobson at Folk City" (1962) and "Good Morning Rain" (1970). Dobson was an active participant in Toronto's folk revival, performing in local coffeehouses and at the Mariposa Folk Festival. After returning to Toronto in 1967, she continued performing and recording, influencing many other artists with her music.
