Bruno Cocset is a French baroque cellist born in 1963. He studied at the National Conservatory in Tours and later with Anner Bylsma, Jaap Schröder, and Christophe Coin. He has collaborated with prominent European historically informed ensembles, such as Jordi Savall's Le Concert des Nations. In 1996, he founded his own ensemble, Les Basses Réunies, focusing on reviving forgotten composers like Jean-Baptiste Barrière and Evaristo Felice Dall'Abaco. His discography includes innovative interpretations of Bach's cello suites and Vivaldi's cello concertos and sonatas.
