Bubble Puppy was a psychedelic rock band formed in 1967 in Austin, Texas. The original lineup consisted of Rod Prince (guitar, vocals), Roy Cox (bass guitar, vocals), Todd Potter (guitar, vocals), and David 'Fuzzy' Fore (drums). Their most notable hit is 'Hot Smoke & Sasafrass' from 1968, which reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 1969, they released their only album, 'A Gathering of Promises'. After leaving the International Artists label, they moved to Los Angeles, where they released a self-titled album as Demian in 1971. The band disbanded in 1972 but reunited in 2011 and continues to perform.
