Cappella Mediterranea is a Baroque ensemble founded in 2005 by Argentine conductor Leonardo García Alarcón. The ensemble specializes in the interpretation of Baroque music, focusing on works from Southern Europe. Notable recordings include Michelangelo Falvetti's "Il Diluvio Universale," Francesco Cavalli's "Elena," and "Carmina Latina." The ensemble regularly collaborates with the Chœur de Chambre de Namur and performs at international festivals.
