Carey Bell was an American blues musician known for his harmonica playing and singing. In 1969, he released his debut album "Carey Bell's Blues Harp" under Delmark Records. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable blues artists such as Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon. In 1990, he teamed up with Junior Wells, James Cotton, and Billy Branch on the recording "Harp Attack!", which became one of Alligator Records' best-selling albums. Other significant albums include "Deep Down" (1995) and "Good Luck Man" (1997). In 1998, he received the Blues Music Award for Traditional Male Artist of the Year.
