Carmen Lundy is an American jazz vocalist, composer, and arranger from Miami, Florida. After earning her B.M. degree from the University of Miami in 1978, she moved to New York City. In 1985, she released her debut album, "Good Morning Kiss," which remained on the Billboard chart for 23 weeks. Lundy has released over 15 albums, including "Modern Ancestors" (2019) and "Fade to Black" (2022), both nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album. Her compositions have been recorded by artists such as Kenny Barron and Ernie Watts. Lundy is recognized for her contributions to the jazz genre and collaborations with musicians like Regina Carter and Terri Lyne Carrington.
