Carnivore was an American thrash metal band formed in 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. Led by vocalist and bassist Peter Steele, who later founded Type O Negative, the band released two albums: "Carnivore" (1985) and "Retaliation" (1987). Their music blended thrash metal with hardcore punk and was known for provocative lyrics. After disbanding in 1987, members pursued other projects. The band briefly reunited in 2006, but did not continue after Steele's death in 2010. The products available from the artist Carnivore include vinyls.
