Casey Dienel is an American singer, songwriter, and producer from Scituate, Massachusetts. She began her music career in 2006 with the debut album "Wind-Up Canary" released under her own name. Later, she adopted the stage name White Hinterland, under which she released the albums "Phylactery Factory" (2008), "Kairos" (2010), and "Baby" (2014). In 2017, she returned to her name and released the album "Imitation of a Woman to Love". Her music spans the genres of indie pop and art pop, known for her layered vocals and synthesizers. In 2025, she announced the release of the album "My Heart Is an Outlaw".
