Čechomor is a Czech music group formed in 1988 under the name I. Českomoravská nezávislá hudební společnost. The band performs traditional Czech, Moravian, Silesian, and Slovak folk songs in modern arrangements. Notable albums include "Čechomor" (2000), "Proměny" (2001), and "Co sa stalo nové" (2005). The group has collaborated with artists such as Jaromír Nohavica, Lenka Dusilová, and Suzanne Vega. In 2001, they received three Anděl Awards, and in 2002, they won the Czech Lion Award for the music in the film "Rok ďábla". The products available from the artist Čechomor include CDs, vinyls.
