Chas & Dave were a British pop rock duo from London, consisting of Chas Hodges and Dave Peacock. Formed in 1972, they were known for their "rockney" style, blending rock and cockney dialect. Their notable songs include "Gertcha" (1979), "Rabbit" (1980), and "Ain't No Pleasing You" (1982). They collaborated with Tottenham Hotspur football club on several songs, and their music influenced bands like The Libertines. Chas Hodges passed away in 2018.
