The Chas McDevitt Skiffle Group was a British musical ensemble formed in the mid-1950s. The group is best known for their 1957 hit "Freight Train," which reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart. They were one of the few British skiffle groups to achieve international success. After the departure of vocalist Nancy Whiskey in 1957, the group continued with less commercial success.
