His 1987 debut album, "Late Night City Blues," received four Blues Music Award nominations, including Guitarist of the Year. Throughout his career, he has released several albums, including "Cuttin' Loose" (1990), "Can't Buy a Break" (1992), and "Somewhere Along the Way" (1995). In 2024, he released "Good Intentions Gone Bad" under Alligator Records. Cain is known for his unique style that blends blues, jazz, and R&B, with his music influenced by artists like B.B.
