Cold Years is a Scottish rock band from Aberdeen, formed in 2014. The band consists of Ross Gordon (vocals, guitar), Finlay Urquhart (guitar), Louis Craighead (bass guitar), and Jimmy Douglas (drums). Their debut album, "Paradise," was released in 2020, followed by "Goodbye to Misery" in 2022. In 2024, they released their third album, "A Different Life." Their music is often compared to The Gaslight Anthem, Hot Water Music, and The Xcerts. The band was nominated for the Heavy Music Awards in 2020 in the "Best UK Breakthrough Band" category.
