Collegium 1704 is a Czech Baroque orchestra and choir founded in 2005 by conductor and harpsichordist Václav Luks. The ensemble specializes in the performance of Baroque music, particularly works by Jan Dismas Zelenka, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Josef Mysliveček. They regularly perform at prominent European festivals and concert halls, including the Salzburger Festspiele, Berliner Philharmonie, and London's Wigmore Hall. Notable recordings include Zelenka's "Missa Votiva ZWV 18" and "Missa 1724," as well as Bach's "Mass in B minor BWV 232."
