Colosseum is an English jazz-rock band formed in 1968 by drummer Jon Hiseman and saxophonist Dick Heckstall-Smith. The band is renowned for its unique fusion of jazz, rock, and blues improvisation. Their most notable albums include "Those Who Are About to Die Salute You" (1969), "Valentyne Suite" (1969), and "Daughter of Time" (1970). After disbanding in 1971, Colosseum reunited several times, most recently in 2020. Current members include Dave "Clem" Clempson, Mark Clarke, and Chris Farlowe.
