Curios is a British jazz trio comprising pianist Tom Cawley, double bassist Sam Burgess, and drummer Joshua Blackmore. The group is renowned for their unique musical empathy and collective understanding, positioning them among the most intriguing piano trios in Europe. Their third album, "The Other Place," was released on March 29, 2010, under Edition Records. All tracks on the album were composed by Tom Cawley. Recording took place at Curtis Schwartz Studios in West Sussex on September 15 and 16, 2009. The album was produced by Curios and mixed and mastered by Curtis Schwartz.
