Cypress Hill is an American hip-hop group formed in 1988 in South Gate, California. The original members are Sen Dog, B-Real, and DJ Muggs; percussionist Eric Bobo later joined. They are known for their influence on West Coast hip-hop and rap in the 1990s. Their second album, "Black Sunday" (1993), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2019, they became the first Latin American hip-hop group to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their music often blends hip-hop with rock elements and features lyrics in both English and Spanish.
