Daniel Hope is a British violinist known for his musical versatility and humanitarian commitment. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and conductors worldwide. Since 2016, he has served as Music Director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, and in 2018, he assumed the same role with San Francisco's New Century Chamber Orchestra. In 2019, he became Artistic Director of Dresden's Frauenkirche, and in 2020, President of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn. Hope is also a prolific recording artist with over 30 albums, earning accolades such as the Deutsche Schallplattenpreis and Diapason d'Or.
