Dave Douglas is an American jazz trumpeter and composer known for his versatility and innovative approach to music. In 2015, he collaborated with the Australian Monash Art Ensemble on the album "Fabliaux," recorded in March 2014 at Monash University in Clayton, Victoria. The album draws inspiration from 14th-century French music and combines improvisation with modern musical techniques.
