Dead Bob is the solo project of John Wright, former drummer of the Canadian punk band NoMeansNo. With 50 years of drumming and 45 years of songwriting experience, Wright released his debut album "Life Like" in 2025. The album was recorded and produced by Wright in British Columbia and features collaborations with musicians such as Byron Slack, Kristy Lee Audette, and Ford Pier. Dead Bob's music spans punk and alternative rock genres. The band has toured across Europe and Canada, performing in cities like Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, and Geneva. Wright continues to work on two more albums and actively performs live.
