Dead Boys were an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio. Originally members of Rocket from the Tombs, vocalist Stiv Bators and guitarist Cheetah Chrome formed Dead Boys along with drummer Johnny Blitz, guitarist Jimmy Zero, and bassist Jeff Magnum. Their 1977 debut album, "Young, Loud and Snotty," features the iconic track "Sonic Reducer." In 1978, they released their second album, "We Have Come for Your Children." The band disbanded in 1979 but reunited in 2017 for a 40th-anniversary tour and released "Still Snotty: Young, Loud & Snotty at 40."
