Deadguy is an American metalcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, formed in 1994. Their debut album, "Fixation on a Co-Worker," is considered a genre classic and was inducted into Decibel magazine's "Hall of Fame" in 2006. The band is known for their aggressive sound and personal lyrics, influencing bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan and Shai Hulud. After disbanding in 1997, Deadguy reunited in 2021 for Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly. Their music combines elements of metal, noise rock, and experimental punk, contributing to the development of the mathcore genre.
