Def P & Beatbusters is a Dutch music group formed in 2001 by rapper Def P from the Amsterdam hip-hop band Osdorp Posse and the ska band Beatbusters from the Betuwe region. Their debut album "Aangenaam" was released in 2001 and featured the hit "Bubbelbad," which reached number 11 on the Dutch charts. The group combined hip-hop, ska, and reggae, a fusion they termed "Skank-hop." After 85 performances, they ceased activities in December 2002 but reunited in 2008, releasing the album "Hard op Weg" in 2011. In 2015, they released the EP "Gloeiende Plaat."
