Demolition Hammer is an American thrash metal band from the Bronx, New York, formed in 1986. The original lineup consisted of Steve Reynolds (vocals, bass), James Reilly (guitar), and John Salerno (drums). After releasing two demo tapes, "Skull Fracturing Nightmare" (1988) and "Necrology" (1989), the band signed with Century Media Records. Their debut album, "Tortured Existence," was released in 1990, followed by "Epidemic of Violence" in 1992 and "Time Bomb" in 1994. The band disbanded in 1995 but reunited in 2016.
