Deus Ex Machina is a Singaporean death metal/thrash metal band formed in 2004. Their debut album, "The War Inside," was released in 2006, followed by "I, Human" in 2009 and "|||" in 2022. The band is known for its melodic approach to death metal and progressive metal structures. The lyrical content of their album "I, Human" deals with the theme of cloning, inspired by Isaac Asimov's novel "I, Robot." Throughout their career, the band has toured in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia.
