Dick Diver is an Australian four-piece indie pop band from Melbourne, Victoria. Named after a character from F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel "Tender Is the Night," the band formed in 2008 and consists of Rupert Edwards (guitar), Alistair McKay (guitar), Steph Hughes (drums), and Al Montfort (bass). Their debut album, "New Start Again," was released in 2011, followed by "Calendar Days" in 2013, which received critical acclaim and was nominated for The Age Music Victoria Awards for Best Album. Their third album, "Melbourne, Florida," was released in 2015. The band is known for their contribution to the "New Melbourne Jangle" scene, with music influenced by bands like The Go-Betweens and Television.
