Dirty Pretty Things was an English rock band formed in 2005 by Carl Barât after the breakup of The Libertines. The band consisted of Barât (vocals, guitar), Didz Hammond (bass guitar), Gary Powell (drums), and Anthony Rossomando (guitar). Their debut album, "Waterloo to Anywhere," was released in 2006 and reached number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. It featured singles "Bang Bang You're Dead" and "Deadwood." The second album, "Romance at Short Notice," was released in 2008. The band disbanded in October 2008 after three years of activity.
