DJ Muggs is an American DJ and producer, known as a member of the hip-hop group Cypress Hill and leader of the Soul Assassins collective. He produced seven studio albums for Cypress Hill, four of which achieved platinum status and three gold. He has collaborated with artists such as House of Pain, Ice Cube, and GZA. In 2003, he released the solo album "Dust," incorporating elements of trip hop and electronica. As a member of Cypress Hill, he received three Grammy nominations for the tracks "Insane in the Brain," "I Ain't Goin' Out Like That," and "Throw Your Set in the Air."
